​​As webmaster for MACT, I visit many community theatre websites every week to see if there are any new auditions or performances that I need to post to the MACT website and include in the MACT weekly newsletter.  While visiting these websites and Facebook pages, I noticed that the quality and usability of these websites varied greatly.

Many theatres, especially the smaller organizations, depend on volunteers to manage their websites.  Having worked with and in many volunteer run organizations over the years, I know that depending on volunteers can result in very hit-and-miss results.  It not only depends on the volunteers' time availability, but also their knowledge and skill-set.  Years of honing my craft, allow me to build simple websites of only a few pages to large dynamic websites or anything in-between.
